the past few days were spent with my favourite people :D
just one day back to sch and i think many of us are tired. maybe its the age, or maybe its the grades o.o
but amidst all these shocks, theres a reason to celebrate cos its zhong qiu jie today ! (anw, i think 'midautumn fest' sounds lame.) haha my family is going downstairs later to burn the trees again.

sian i really cant stand the way my bro thinks that the whole world owes him smth. makes me feel like an idiot when trying to talk sense into him. its disgusting the way some kids are so self-centered that they only know how to whine about how unfair their life is blahblah and they just dont understand the simple logic that they've got to work hard enough to earn whatever they want. slamming doors only serve to emphasize how childish they can be.
but then again, maybe i was once such a person too. lets hope it's just a phase.

just something reinforced in me after the ymca interview on sat:
when we complain that were thrown into the sea without a line, perhaps we should try to rmb that this is life. of course, people can and will help us, but they cannot stay by our sides forever. it's definitely harder standing on your own feet, but it is the best choice when it's the only one.
